Top Gear
I think my new favorite TV show is Top Gear on BBC America. Sure its mostly because it is about cars. But it is also quite funny.

Oh good god I hate that show. For some reason that host drives me absolutely insane. I think the combination of acting like hes just the smartest man on earth in combination with the naturally snooty english accent really kills me.

See, I think I love the snootiness of the accent, and I'm okay with him thinking he's smart. I just love the way he drives the cars, and what he says about them. It is refreshing that he isn't complimentary of every car.

I also loved the episode on Caravaning (RVing in this country.)

i'm with you on this one, cap'n crunch. it has the crap they show on speed and spike beat hands down. i love the posh accent. i want to be british when i grow up.

yeah -- for me I look at it like this:

Motorweek is the nice girl/guy that your grandmother/ aunt thinks is darling and wants you to date, but who just has no chemistry.

Top Gear is the hot punk girl/guy who is also class valedictorian who your parents don't really like, but can't really criticize, either.

Wow... I wonder where I came up with the HS analogy!
